I never wanted to add HaloScan scripts to my blog. I did wfind a good use for it, though. I added it to the photo pages on my site. They were easy to add, but I had to manually set up each page. I also tweaked the stylesheet so the comment page’s link would come up on the right side of the photo’s page.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever tried the Haloscan commenting and trackback service? I hated it, especially with those damn adverts.
I actually don’t mind the adverts for now, that is. I might switch to YACCS if it’s a problem.
Try http://blogtools.org/index.html if you want an easy to install and adless system that works well. I use the guestbook version for my blogs as does Lou. The comment system works with Blogger and other blogs.
The operator lives here in Victoria and the tech support is good. You can also list your blog with the user list. it is worth checking out.
