Review: Adium X

Adium X
I know quite a few people and not all of them use the same IM client. For anyone with a PC, I recommend using Trillian, which I (I’m not kidding) actually wish was available for the Mac. Well, I found a good alternative. Now, I use Adium X. It rocks Natick.

Adium XI really like the way it works. It was really simple to install, since all I had to do was drag its icon out of the disk image it came in.

I really like the funny quacking noises it makes to alert me of different things, like someone logging on or off, and new messages.

The only problems I have with it are that it doesn’t support IRC (yet?) and it logs off whenever my Mac goes to sleep. Other than those, it’s very awesome. I like it more than another IM client I tried out.

I really need to get to work on some other reviews, so expect them soon. Also, check out the sidebar for links to reviews.
