New Books

Today, I went to Barnes & Noble and got two books. I got Revolution in the Valley and The Pleasure of My Company. The former is a book I’ve been wanting to get for a while, but never had the chance to. Plan to read it so I can learn about the Mac and its beginning. I started to read The Pleasure of My Company after my old guitar teacher recommended it to me. It was time to return it to the library, but I never renewed it. I read it halfway and it was pretty good. I was gonna get a Moleskine instead, but I didn’t feel like it.

Also, I reserved Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Apparently, all I have to do is walk in and tell them my name and they’ll give me a wristband to wear during the Midnight Magic party. If you want the book and you don’t want to wait at a store, pre-order it from Amazon, and they’ll ship it so it arrives at your place on July 16, the day its supposed to come out.

  • Cool, I can’t wait to see the 4th HP movie. I think it comes out in November. The director for the first 2 films did a better job (Chris Columbus) than Alfonso Cuarez.

  • Yup! That’s exactly what I did – ordered it off the net. Now crossing my fingers that it reaches me on time.
