I hate the way almost all Bollywood movies show men (and sometimes women) from places other than India as bad people. Be it someone whose moved from India to another place, or a foreigner. Most of the time, the foreigner will be an alcoholic, a rapist, or just a plain ol’ pervert. This even makes people from the “Indian Subcontinent” think that all people from other places (read Americans and Europeans) are bad. You should’ve seen how many “looks” I got from women when I went to Bangladesh last summer. Made me feel like I was doing something bad.
People stereotype Canadians, too. Whwn I was vacationing in L.A., we would talk to people and ask if we all said “eh” and other questions that are influenced by the media, mainly the American media, making fun of us Canadians.
