Free Music From the Gap

Starting August 8, you get a free iTunes download for trying on jeans at the Gap. Apple hasn’t anounced this yet, but Gap Inc. has. I’m gonna try and get my parents to try on jeans with me. I know Sudman will try to get his parents in on it, too.

Simply Geeky

I *need* to get this t-shirt, designed by Dan Cederholm. It’s called the Document T-Shirt. It’s just so simple, yet so cool. And it shows off your geekiness. Unless you guys don’t know by now, Dan is my design idol. He’s on that list of people that includes Biz Stone, and a whole slew of other people.

Designer’s Block?

Today, I tried to redesign this site. Unfortunately, I was unable to. Why, you might ask? Because I can’t really decide how to make the site look. I want something with that nice glossy-matte look that SimpleBits, Odeo, and Mark Boulton have. I also need to get a nice color scheme. I keep coming back to the current color scheme, but I want to change it. I wish I had some more inpiration. I also wish I could kill Internet Explorer. It makes my designing moments a living nightmare.

Weird Shaving Cream

Some guy bought a can of shaving cream and noticed it smelled “subtle-yet-masculine.” Imagine his shock when he found out that the label started to peel off and what he found inside was a can of women’s shaving cream!

My Trip to Canada

My trip to Canada was excellent indeed. First, I went to the Niagara Falls Botanical Garden with my sister and bro-in-law. The place was awesome, with beautiful flowers and such. Then, we went to this really cool Pakistani restaurant in downtown Toronto called Lahore Tikka House. The food was awesome.

I went to the Toronto Apple Store, which was sorta crowded. I noticed that many of the employees were bent at selling stuff. They kept trying to convince people to buy stuff. I even saw a guy who kept trying to embarass an employee. He kept asking whether the iPod was “IBM-compatible” and referred to Macs as “Apple-ware.” Funny.

Well, I came home yesterday, and I wish I had stayed longer, but, oh well.

I uploaded a bunch of photos to Flickr, which was fun. I made a set called Trip to Canada. It has a bunch of photos from when I stopped at the Niagara Falls.
