Games to Get

Nintendo!

I really want a game for my Nintendo. I’ve never played with it. I guess that’s because I never got the chance to get games for it.

Since my mom is pretty happy that I finally went back to getting 90+ averages, she says she’ll get me some games.

My first choice is definitely that 3-in-1 I was talking about. I also want to get some other games, since you can get them for cheap on eBay. Maybe Legend of Zelda. Do you guys have any suggestions to make?

A Conversation

Here’s part of a conversation I’m having at the moment:

Me: i want an NES game badly, man
Mario: ebay
Me: i kno
Mario: or go to a flee market and go to someone who’s selling “the latest games”
Me: hahahaha

Pure humor.

Retro Goodies

The holidays are close by and I’m thinking about what I want. There’s Eid, which is next week, Hanukkah and Christmas, both of which are on December 25. There’s also Kwanzaa and Diwali (I think).

This year, I’ve decided to make my wishlist a bit retro.

I’m planning on getting myself a Lomo LC-A, if I can save up enough money. It’s a really nice vintage Russian camera from like 1982 that’s been discontinued.

I also want a game for my olde NES. Preferably the Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, and World Class Track Meet 3-in-1, since that’s what I should’ve gotten with my Nintendo.

Today, I saw that the Adventures of Pete & Pete was on DVD. The second season is coming to DVD next week. I remember seeing a few episodes as a little kid. The one I can best recall was one where little Pete tried to save time for Daylight Savings or something like that.

The last thing I want is Super Skeet. It’s this old game they used to have ads for. I was so little, I didn’t know what it was called. Just knew it was cool and you shot at ducks that were on your wall.

Fall is in the Air

I am extremely sorry about forgetting Jake Animationman’s Fall Fest. I’ve been so busy/lazy lately, I couldn’t get to it.

Well, here I go. It’s getting pretty cold out here. The stray cat that I’ve named Cocoa seems to want to come into our house. The problem is, she’s sorta afraid of letting me go near her. I can tell she wants to come in, since she always meows when she sees me and follows me around. She came into our house twice, but got sorta scared. I need to see if I can get her to come in before it gets to darn cold for her to stay outside.

There’s this really cool thing I see on the way home if it’s recently rained a lot. The park next to my house has this grassy area that kinda goes inward. The rainwater stays there, making a small pond. The many ducks that live in the park go there and swim. I’m guessing this is because the huge fake pond at the park is to filthy for them.

Sideburns and Audio

Yesterday, I shaved off my beard and much of my sideburns. I didn’t shave my mustache. When I went to school today, one of my friends told me that my sideburns were messed up. I looked, and this is a rough sketch what I saw:

Sideburns.

It’s a pain in the butt to shave, especially with your glasses off. Today, I evened them out and even got rid of the two little lines of hair.

In case you guys didn’t know, I have an Odeo channel. I’m too lazy/busy most of the time to update it. I was thinking about something. If I can buy a cheap pocket recorder thing, I can use a cable that I have to connect it to my Mac using the recorder’s audio-out port and my Mac’s audio-in port. That way, I can take it to school and record my friends [acting stupid].
