Today, I went to the Apple Store with Rasidul and Sudman. It was pretty fun. We checked out the new iMacs and took Photo Booth for a test drive. It’s pretty cool. Something that’s good for when you have parties and such. You can just fire up your computer and let people take photos. Sudman and I took a really funny one, but we didn’t remember to post it to Flickr.
Sudman got a bunch of iPod nano Tubes for him and his sister. Sudman also blogged from the store. I wish he kept the browser open to his blog. I remember doing that way-back-when I used the old ‘zikken’ subdomain on Blog*Spot. I don’t think I had any readers back then. I just left one of the Macs subscribed to my feed. I also left a videoblog post on one of the (video) iPods.
Have you ever planned to do something, but then something went wrong and you had too much of your old perfectionist self left in you to try and improvise? How about not doing something you know will bring some happiness to your life? Well, that’s some of the stuff that can happen if you’re in a rush to get to school.
I know that there are many things I could do to get rid of old grudges. Darn me. I need more confidence when it comes to some things.

Today, I picked up my LC-A photos from Rite Aid. They came out pretty good, with the exception of a few. I need to get the hang of setting the focus because it’s easy to over or under estimate the distance and “mess up” your photo.
I’m thinking about which of these photos might be a good submission to issue 5 of JPG Magazine. Maybe the one at the top of this post? If you want to check out more of the photos, check them out in the Flickr photoset I made.

Today, I got my report card. I’m pretty happy because I improved, even if only by like 2 and a half points. Most of the people I know got good grades. I got a 92.55 and my friend, Ravindra got around a 92.67. Another friend of mine, Nelima got a 92.77 while her friend, Rushni, got like a 93. I’m hoping to get better grades next marking period. Need to boost up that Spanish grade, since the first term grade is the avergae of all three marking period grades.
I’m in a rush to try and ask my dad if I can go to that concert. I need to sweet talk him first. Wish me luck.

I really hope I can go see Colin Meloy of the Decemberists when he comes to New York City on his solo tour. Thanks to Lou, I’ve fallen in love with the music of the Decemberists. If I do go, I’ll be taking my nephew, Rasidul, since I know my parents won’t let me go alone. I’m feeling really lucky, so lets hope I can go. I’d better get a Decemberists CD of my own soon, I might get an autograph op.
If I do get to go, which I’m hoping I am, it will be my first concert ever. Well, that excludes those weird Bengali things I’ve attended. I’m just trying to think of a way to convince both my parents and Rasidul’s parents. (No hard feeling, Sudman. I know your parents will never approve.)
I know that convincing my parents will be fairly easy. I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting very good grades this marking period. Grades come out Friday! The hard part will be convincing Rasidul’s parents.
EDIT: I found out that the big Regents test I have scheduled for January is on the day of the concert. Guess what this means? I get to come home from school early. I also get no homework. That means I can relax that day.

This is me trying to be excited in a video. If anyone can, please try viewing this on a video iPod as I want to know if the settings I use will work.
I was infected by Jorgeq. Here are the directions: Write 5 random facts about yourself, and then list the names of 5 people whom you in turn infect. Also, leave a post to these people letting them know they have been infected.
- I’m starting to procrastinate less nowadays. Guessing it has a lot to do with that 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens class I have to take after school.
- One day, I got stuck in Pokemon Yellow and I cried a lot. That night, I had a dream where I saw myself getting out of the “stuck” position. The next day, I tried out the technique I saw in the dream and it worked.
- I once had to run into a bathroom to get away from these two chicks who saw that I looked like Harry Potter.
- I like messing around with people. However, I am sorry about being a bit mean to you in the seventh grade, You-know-who-you-are. I didn’t know much about stuff back then, so I hope you forgive me.
- I’ve been playing guitar since the seventh grade.
I’d like to infect Marina, Aaron, Lou, Davis, and Sudman. Since Aaron stopped blogging (for now), I’ll infect Jeeves.
