I sent my first roll of black and white film off to Snapfish a few days ago. The prints haven’t arrived, but I can check out the photos online already. This one here is one of the better ones.
Update: I got the photos and they’ve been put on Flickr. Check them out now!

Nice.
I’m pumped to see the rest
looks good.
i know it’s [snapfish is] convenient and cheap but if you’re shooting b&w film i really think it’s worth your while getting it developed professionally, there are many sub-pro or amateur photoshops that’ll develop your film, even by hand if you request. if you’re wealthy in the time effort department you can even develop it yourself at a darkroom, easier (for b&w) than you think and way cheaper than anything else.
,and i’m not usually one to sacrifice convenience for anything.
You’re right. The thing is, I don’t know any pro photoshops around here. (Even though I live in NYC.) One thing though, it wasn’t the traditional kind of b&w film. It was some special “color film” by Kodak that comes out in b&w.
I like how the dark clouds creep off in the corner, contrasting with the lighter parts. We had to do a photo assignment in seventh grade once where we went up to the school roof and took photos. I think I still have some of those lying around…
Nice. You should put them up somewhere. (Hint hint: Flickr

Nice stuff. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the roll comes out.
