A Street Fair

Today, I decided to help out with a street fair that YoYoNation was in. We sold loads of yoyos and it was fun. Pat (my “boss” in formal terms) was funny, as always. Lots of little kids bought yoyos, but we really hit the spot with adults who felt nostalgic and wanted to start spinning again.

I’m starting to get into this whole yoyo thing. It’s a lot of fun and the community is really cool.

I really hate how I was in such a cool place today and I couldn’t take any photos. I left my camera’s battery in its charger at home and Pat’s camera’s battery was dead.

Anyway, I’ll be at another street fair tomorrow. If you’re in the city, feel free to stop by and say or try some yoyos out or even buy one! The Lexington Avenue Festival will be on Lexington Avenue between 34th & 42nd Street.

Borrow, Rip, Return

I went to the library and met up with some friends of mine. I decided to take out some CDs and do what I always do, “Borrow, Rip, Return.” You can save loads of money doing that and you don’t get songs that somebody didn’t encode right.

Here’s what I got:

The only problem with getting a lot of CDs together is that I don’t get a chance to enjoy every single song over a long period of time. But it’s fun getting music!

Funny Thoughts

Isn’t it funny how certain people make you want to hang out with them more than most other people? Also, isn’t it funny how I’m having loads of fun working at a yo-yo business doing things that most interns probably don’t do?

Oh yeah, I know this is old news and the album’s been reviewed dozens of times, but Illinois is awesome!
