Last night, it was raining and I decided to crack open the window next to my bed. It really helped me fall asleep faster than usual. The sound of rain drops as they hit everything outside is very soothing.
Lately, I’ve been growing fonder of rainy days. I remember dancing in the rain when I was younger. It was so much fun. It’s like happiness is amplified in the strange and gloomy feeling that rain can bring. Getting my clothes wet is worth having rainy days.
The smell as well.
