Apple is Wonderful

Apple has announced the video iPod. Just as I predicted yesterday. ;) There’s also a new iMac G5 out. I feel sorry for Sudman since his birthday’s next week and he got a nano a few weeks ago. There is just one thing I don’t like about the new iPod. No FireWire support! This makes me sad. I love the speediness of FireWire.

I’m pretty sure what I get after my LC-A shall be a new iPod. I’ve been waiting for this one ever since I got mine more than a year ago, which I’m surprised I didn’t blog about when I got it.

Got My T-Shirts

Survival of the Shittest, originally uploaded by cafenut.

I didn’t check the mail when I came home today. I’m guessing it’s because today’s the first day I actually used my keys since my parents were out and no one was there to open the door. When my parents got back, my mom opened the mailbox and asked, “What’s this?” She didn’t know it was the tshirts since Threadless sends stuff in large envelopes.

I am gonna wear my Survival of the Shittest tee tomorrow with my “gangsta” jacket, which my dad bought before I explained to him why I don’t wear that sorta stuff.

Did I mention that I got stickers, two Threadless pencils, and that two all three of my tees are 1st edition?

I’ve also been having a problem with iTunes, which I’ve posted about in the Flickr Macintosh group forum.

Evidence of the iPod video?

Every Tuesday, Apple updates the iTunes Music Store with new material. Well, the last time they didn’t was when the iPod nano was announced. They updated the Music Store along with the nano.

Today, the Music Store hasn’t been updated and there’s a special event announcing “one more thing” tomorrow. It just might be the iPod video, since I doubt they’d hold back the Music Store for a bunch of new Macs. Of course, there might just be a new “regular” iPod. Let’s wait and see.

I Wish I Had $600!

I just found an awesome listing on eBay! It’s an original Macintosh from 1984. I wish I had the money to buy it.

Darn Ethernet Cable

I was upgrading my wireless router’s firmware last night, so I had to connect my PowerBook to the router with an ethernet cable. My good ones were connected to my cable modem and my old PC, so I decided to use the one that came supplied with my cable modem and guess what? This morning, I tried to take it out and it’s stuck inside my PowerBook! Thanks to Google, I found a forum thread about similar experiences, but I can’t find anything that’ll fit above the cable.

Update: Fortunately, this piece of a binder clip saved me.

Also took care of the ethernet cable.
