Funny Thoughts

Isn’t it funny how certain people make you want to hang out with them more than most other people? Also, isn’t it funny how I’m having loads of fun working at a yo-yo business doing things that most interns probably don’t do?

Oh yeah, I know this is old news and the album’s been reviewed dozens of times, but Illinois is awesome!

Oh So Sleepy

I’m working on a project that I should’ve started working on a long time ago. Reminds me of a night a year ago. I need to start learning from my mistakes.

I’m having hallucinations, both visual and auditory. There are thoughts going through my head, including of certain people. It’s crazy what happens to me when I’m sleepy and bored at the same time.

On another note, I now know what it feels like when you underestimate the power of the internet and you make a big mistake. Things you didn’t want happening start to occur and deleting things only prevent further damage.

Request Denied

Here are some things people should consider before asking me to join their band. I’d like to say beforehand that I don’t mean to be rude.

  1. I play stuff like indie rock and folk, not metal. No, indie rock is not from India.
  2. There’s no way I’d join your band if you say that girls can’t drum. My friend’s awesome at drumming and she’s a girl.
  3. If I say I don’t feel like joining today, there’s a chance I won’t feel like it in a couple of weeks. Or ever again.
  4. “It’s My Life” is not punk rock.

Hey, don’t say I didn’t warn ya. I said I didn’t mean to be rude.

Almost My Birthday

Piece Number 10

Since my birthday falls on a Saturday, people at school decided to celebrate it today. I got loads of birthday punches and my arms still hurt. One thing you should know: never wear just a short sleeve tee to school on your birthday, not enough padding.

I didn’t expect so many people to say hi to me. I was actually in a rush sometimes because people were trying to punch me. It was a lot of fun.

The best present, after my Les Paul, was the one from my friends Tanzia and Tasfia. They kept telling me about some present they were gonna give me. When I finally got it, it was a little bundle of something soft wrapped in some desi wrapping paper. When I opened it up, there were three boxers inside and the waists said, “I’m A Big Boy Now.” I knew I couldn’t take them home but they had forgotten, though. We decided that all we could do was play around with the things and throw them out.

I also recieved that piece of a painting I had claimed from Meg Scheminske. I’m happy that it arrived just in time for my birthday.

Speaking of birthdays, why do all those girls who turn 15 on that MTV show seem like way older than me? Staged, I presume?
