Sideburns and Audio

Yesterday, I shaved off my beard and much of my sideburns. I didn’t shave my mustache. When I went to school today, one of my friends told me that my sideburns were messed up. I looked, and this is a rough sketch what I saw:

Sideburns.

It’s a pain in the butt to shave, especially with your glasses off. Today, I evened them out and even got rid of the two little lines of hair.

In case you guys didn’t know, I have an Odeo channel. I’m too lazy/busy most of the time to update it. I was thinking about something. If I can buy a cheap pocket recorder thing, I can use a cable that I have to connect it to my Mac using the recorder’s audio-out port and my Mac’s audio-in port. That way, I can take it to school and record my friends [acting stupid].

Things to Remember

I need to remember a lot of stuff everyday. Here’s a list of a few I learned today.

  • Carry keys: I got locked out of my house today since my mom had gone somewhere.
  • Never leave your bookbag’s insides exposed: Today, a friend of mine dropped a bottle of Coke and the cap broke off. Guess what happened? The Coke splattered on the floor and the cap was pointing in my direction. It wouldn’t have been that bad if I weren’t taking a test and stuff in my bookbag hadn’t gotten wet and sticky. I’m extremely lucky my tshirt was yellow.
  • Carry a cellphone: I’m lucky I got let out of my Kaplan course on time, or else, I’d be stuck in the cold for like 15 minutes. I mean, I’d be able to use my proctor Ted’s phone, but what if no one had a phone?
  • Friends rock:
  • They can help you out in times of need and when you need to look busy in order to avoid eye contact with people you’d rather not have any with.

So, those are a few things I’ve learned to remember today.

Oh, and I got invited to use Flock. It “came” with a free invite to WordPress.com and I’ve set up my own WordPress.com blog at shahid.wordpress.com The interface is pretty slick.
