So Radiohead announced earlier today that they’ll be releasing their new album The King of Limbs this Saturday February 19th. Much like when In Rainbows was announced, I’m really excited about this album. I don’t even care that there isn’t a track listing out yet. I’m just gonna wait till Saturday. I know they’ll release something amazing.
You can pre-order it over at thekingoflimbs.com right now. They have a physical edition and a digital one up. I decided to get the Newspaper Album as an early birthday present to myself.
Can’t wait to listen to the album!
So Thursday, I heard about Tokyo Police Club doing 3 secret shows around Manhattan on Friday. They were organized by The Wild Honey Pie and the exact locations weren’t all public until Friday morning. At first, I was unsure about going as I don’t usually wake up till 2. Since I woke up rather early Friday, I decided to try and make at least one show.
Constantly checking Twitter for updates on the locations, I found out that there would be three shows: the first on the West Side, one at Washington Square Park, and a third in Stuy Town. It was too late to make the third show so I set out to catch the second and final shows.
